I have a plant, that was labeled 'flapjack' when I bought it, I think it might be some kind of sedum? At least not a cactus.
Anyway it has a thick sort of layer of pure white 'powder' or chalk on the main stem of the plant. Is it supposed to have that on it?
It seems to be growing and it looks bright green. I did have a leaf rot off the bottom close to the soil, but I did just bring them indoors a week or so, so I thought maybe the 'climate' change could cause some die back as the plant gets used to being indoors.
I've only had it about 4 months, but I don't think it has a good root system at all, It still seems loose in the pot, and I originally bought it at Lowe's
It has grown a lot though, probably tripling in size since I brought it home.
any ideas?
Thank You
