Here is a list of proven good growers for subject areas. Also please note many of these grow well in other parts of the country.

Dahlias for Northeast & Mid Atlantic

Magic Moment B SC W 9” blooms
This beauty has a delightful lavender flush. Very easy to grow

Bernadette Castro Min FD Pk 4” blooms---Very prolific pink beauty. Raised on Long Island

Honka Orchid form yellow 5” blooms---Very different gets attention in the garden. Blooms all season.

Zorro Giant Red 10”+ blooms--- If I could only grow 1 giant variety this would be the one. Great in the garden and on the show bench.

Parkland Rave BB C Pu 6” blooms--- Outstanding garden dahlia and with ramrod stems a great cut flower.

Joker’s Wild BB SC bi color 5”--- This one sure to be unique in the garden. No 2 blooms the same all are mixture of red & white. Visitors will be talking about this one for days.

Karma Choc. Waterlily Darkest red 5” Bloom. Very dark foliage a standout in the garden does not require staking.

Melody Harmony waterlily salmon and yellow 4” bloom. Outstanding border dahlia 22” height works well in a container garden.

Islander A ID Dk Pk 10” flowers. Bred on Long Island a proven show winner and the talk of your garden. It will grow 5.5’ tall with lots of 9-10” flowers. Very Impressive.

Ryecroft Jan Min FD W 4” flowers. Blooms all season from late July till frost. A big plant near 6’ that has dozens of well shaped white blooms.
