My Gold Star layers arrived today. 100 of the little buggers. They should start laying in March, just in time for next summers Farmers Market.
We sold nearly 2000 dozen eggs this past market year.

wow ! that is alot of chicks :) but i only have 5 hens and 1 roo so to me that is alot LOL
i m not getting mine until spring :(

i have right now only 5 hens and one roo
i m going to order in spring another 25-30
of Buckeyes and Delawares
sorry for the confusion
just been a bit crazy around here sick kids ect...
here are the ladies and one gentleman living quarters

They are all pullets. Roosters in this breed are pure white when hatched!
Yes, nice dark brown eggs.
