I've never really gotten into Campanulas because the "domesticated" varieties just never seem to grow for me. But we have several wild varieties/species here that grow in the "lawn" (My "lawn" is really a "champs") and pop up in the gardens, and sometimes I transplant a few and they do fine. Here, today, as the season winds way down after the first frosts, there are newly blooming wild campanulas out there!

They really are one of the world's beauties!
