We have a combo wood-electric forced air furnace, which has been very cost-effective for us as we have about a 10 acre alder woodlot which seems to replenish itself commensurate with our harvesting. Last winter the furnace developed a smoke leak of some sort. We are having a difficult time trying to diagnose and/or repair this problem. The company we purchased the furnace from is no longer in existence. No one in our area is familiar with wood furnaces. The leak does not appear to be in the chimney, so I'm guessing it may be in the firebox itself, which has a shroud around it. Any ideas how to identify the leak? Thanks. Deb
