I bought this little, ceramic planter with some bamboo planted in it recently at Lowes. The instructions that came with it tell me to keep water in the planter. I have been doing this - not ever letting it dry out - - and now the bamboo is at least twice as tall as it was when I bought it. I have no idea of what I can expect from here on out. I would like to keep it growing, but I need to know what to do to give it the optimum opportunity to thrive. Can this be done in the Southwest??? Thanks for any help any of you may have.
