I'm starting hosta seed for the first time. Most of the pods yielded black seeds with a bump at the end, which I think is supposed to be good. My golden tiara and an all chartreuse golden tiara sport both had pods with some dark black seed and some pale seeds, but still with a bump at the end. Are the pale seeds viable?
