Bougainvillea 'Bambino Baby Mia'
Bougainvillea
Additional info: (Bambino Series)

Because this cultivar is much smaller, it can be grown as a Bonsai and will bloom. Must be protected from cold.

Ooooohh, Where can I get one??? I have the regular vine plus one varigated, which I have to bring in every year as I am in zones 4-5. The last two years they haven't bloomed as I do not think it has been warm enough to make them do so. It's been very cold and rainy here in mid to upper NY State the past two years. I have only seen them bloom once, when they were in full bloom when I bought them. I am getting concerned. Maybe I have to read up on the potting soil I have them in...;););)

I fertilized mine with Bloom Booster fertilizer and got buds within 2 weeks. I got this Bonsai at Home Depot. It was the last one they had and was not looking too good. I got it home and babied it. It made a nice recovery by the end of a week. If it had died, I would've brought it back to the store to get a refund, as it was about $15. (Which is not a bad price ... unless of course it died. lol) I just love it!

You might try doing an internet search for "Bougainvillea Bonsai" and see what comes up. :-) Good luck trying to locate one. :-)

You are funny... I will do just that ( look on line ) to see if I can find one and check on the soil also.
Thanks,
