I got this in a trade 5 or more years ago and it has been hardy in zone 5. I was calling it Crocosmia, but don't think that is really right. The blooms don't go up the stem like they do. It seems more like a surprise lily of some sort, possibly what I list below, BUT the zone isn't hardy enough.
Lycoris sanguinea
USDA Zone 6a: to -23.3 °C (-10 °F) http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/71204/
Any ideas?
