Hi All! My phal orchid was a present from my boyfriend last spring and had lovely blooms. After the blooms died I clipped the stem back all the way as it was just a dry twig at that point. I repotted it and it is growing 2 new leaves and looks very healthy. Down to the question. I have had a spike coming up under the leaves for what seems like an eternity without growing anymore. Is this normal for the leaves to grow faster than a spike? At this rate I won't have flowers for another 5 years :P
