A friend here in Maryland placed a hanging basket of this outside and by the next day birds had completely eaten it bead-by bead leaving nothing above the soil so you might want to keep a watch over this outside. I guess the berry shape was irresistible.
Would be nice to know what happened to the birds... as this plant is reported to be highly toxic... but I think completely based on OTHER Senecios, not necessarily this species.
