I watched a video of a man that sewed in his basement, made really nice scrappy quilts, very well put together and a lot of thought into the colors. He was a widower, and took over his wife's hobby as he couldn't bear to give it away. He had an older machine, nothing fancy, but boy, could he sew! Imagine how many men are left with a stash of fabric after their loved one passes and if they all took up quilting, there would be loads of warm babies and families out there!
