I love the look of ornamental grasses.. Can anyone suggest some nice clumping grasses that would do well in my area?

There are some nice grasses for your area. Most grasses will do fairly well in your zone. Here are some links to give you ideas.

Little blate answering your post but I am also in zone 8b,and have ten varities of ornamrmtal grasess allover my 4 acres,they all do well/ love them all. LOL Hoitider
