This could be atachinid fly but i'm not sure what kind. Can anyone help me out?

This is indeed in the family Tachinidae, all of which are parasitic on other arthropods. Although this does resemble those in the genus Leschenaultia (see http://tinyurl.com/ylermq5 for an example), I would be very hesitant to put a specific name on it.
