lol Resin, how bout its probably not of the Western Empidonax species, but then again. :|
Sorry thebestmissy but going by my field guide its says that the Empidonax Flycatchers (species your bird is related to) is best identified by voice. Almost all of them look closely alike and are close in size, best to have multiple quality pictures, from different angle's.
I,m still learning to Id Eastern Phoebe's and Eastern Wood Pewee's (mid-sized flycatchers) without mixing those two up and there are at least 10 different types of the small Empidonax species. :(
