I have a jungle inside and ouside of my house. I have brought all of my plants in for the winter and now my dining room is the plant room. Last year I trimmed all of my plants down and rooted them and picked a day to have a plant sale, the day I choose happen to be Mothers Day and I sold every plant plus some in my house I was really tired of looking at. I have many plants getting rooted and potted and ready to say BYE BYE in May of 2010. Makes for nice pocket change since I am presently unemployed. I made $150.00 in 1 day in 3 1/2 hrs. I even had people coming to my front door a few days later asking if I had more. I thought that was to cool.

What a great idea! Thank you for sharing that, something to think about and plan for. Think I'll bring in a little soil, a few pots...hmmmmmm...now if only I had more potting space...

Thanks!

I went to the grocery store and got those containers they put potatoe salad in and used those for the pot, they are cheap and I also used coffee filters for the bottom instead of gravel another cheap way to go. I always use 1/2 potting soil (Miracle Grow) and 1/2 play sand they need good drainage.

Sharon, I loved your article and just had to laugh! I too feel the same way! I LOVE all my wonderful plants as long as they are outside! But once the tender ones have to come in for winter I start to grumble. Thanks for sharing!

True for a lot of us, I think!! But they sure are pretty when they're outside in the summer, aren't they?

Just think, we are all grumbling together.

Thanks.
