My neighbor wasn't sure what these were. She thought they were some type of lily. I'm pretty good with plant identification within zone 5, but this one had me stumped. These were on stalks about 5' tall. I could wait until next year to see what the blooms look like, but I would really like to know sooner than that.

I should also note that the seed is medium tan/gray with a papery covering that appears to aid in dispersion. Sorry, I forgot to photograph the seeds.
