Hi, folks! Got all kinds of books on outdoor ferns but not much on propagation of the "footed" ferns or houseplant types.
I have a handsome Davallia feejeensis, named Dave (not the real Dave!), and a Kangaroo Paw fern, Microsorium.
Do any of you have experience propagating these? I once found a rooted cutting of one of Dave's feet but it had broken off into the garden outdoors and had rooted by itself before I discovered it. Is this easier to do outdoors or indoors, as both ferns are in, here in MA, for the winter? I would appreciate any help you could give.

For Davallia feejeensis, just break off a section of rhizome, and plant it. Very easy!
