This is a new thread for ladies on medicare and what procedures is covered. I went to my gyne this year and the usual procedures was done. Few weeks later I got a bill for $121.00 and was told that it was for pap smear. I was totally surprised because medicare and secondary insurance always covered.I was informed that pap is now every 2 years!!! I paid for it and plan to have the procedure yearly!! No family history of positives How about you? I am not sure if this can be discussed here because of hipaa or hippa. Someone let me know if this is allowed. Belle
