How aptly (and humorously) you described my own rose love-hate relationship in MI, as I gaze upon the pristine rose gardens I see during my stay in Southern CA.

I belong to the rose forum and listen to our members describing their roses in
Texas and California and know there is no hope of meeting their standards in
rose growth.

We here in Michigan must make due. I would like to try Pickering and Palantine in
Canada for roses. I just never have enough money to order the minimum 3.

They have own root and hybrids and buck roses, I love the Morden series, and
some do better here on the farm than others.

Where is Milford?
I live just south of Grand Rapids
