    Very cool...speaking of which, on yesterdays list, Hawaii was 14 degrees in 1961...when I was stationed there from 1988-1992, the natives would run out and buy winter coats when it got below 70. I can't imagine 14... will have to google that. Seems all the native flora and fauna would have perished!

    Must have been on the Big Island, right? Up on the mountain?

    I looked it up and it was on Haleakale. OK, I can understand that, they do have snow skiing up there in the winter after all..
