Our newest DG "baby" turned one year old today.
Happy anniversary to our own Garden History!
I just found this thread--wow, doesn't seem that long ago! I've learned alot of interesting and fun things. Thanks!
Stay tuned...while many of the daily tidbits will repeat, we also added several new ones throughout the year, so you'll also find some new stuff popping up many days.
Very cool...speaking of which, on yesterdays list, Hawaii was 14 degrees in 1961...when I was stationed there from 1988-1992, the natives would run out and buy winter coats when it got below 70. I can't imagine 14... will have to google that. Seems all the native flora and fauna would have perished!
Must have been on the Big Island, right? Up on the mountain?
I looked it up and it was on Haleakale. OK, I can understand that, they do have snow skiing up there in the winter after all..
Happy Anniversary Garden History Feature ^_^ Thanks everso to all that keep this beautiful baby going!
