Well after 5 years in business, I just received an email from a customer who was thoroughly unsatisfied with our products and services. She said the peppers she purchased were all hot when they were supposed to be sweet. She said the garden plan we worked together on caused her cucumbers to be planted too close to her squash and as a result, her cucumbers were bitter. And her tomatoes only got 4 feet tall. Said she was totally soured on gardening and doesn't know if she will try it again.

I immediately emailed her back and offered her my apologies. Offered to refund her money even though I don't know how much it is. Advised her that most of our customers had a great year as far as tomatoes and that I would like to know more details as too what went wrong.

I don't like unhappy customers but not sure what to do in this situation. It's possible the peppers may have been mislabeled. I'm going to assume that they were. But some of the issues sound like growing problems

    How would you handle this?
