I recently bought a 3 ft cat palm; very healthy right now; I'm concerned about light-- while cat palms are tolerant of low light, I'm wondering if it would help to purchase an HPS bulb for supplemental lighting-- would that be beneficial? Too direct (I know direct sunlight should be avoided, but HPS?)? Room has moderate amount of indirect sunlight-- many east facing windows; I live in northern hemisphere (Wisconsin).

    Thank you!

I think additional lighting would be great... but problems indoors with this palm seem to be mostly water quality and humidity issues.
