Author Content deanot25 Madison, WI January 1, 2010 3:22 PM Post #7416218 I recently bought a 3 ft cat palm; very healthy right now; I'm concerned about light-- while cat palms are tolerant of low light, I'm wondering if it would help to purchase an HPS bulb for supplemental lighting-- would that be beneficial? Too direct (I know direct sunlight should be avoided, but HPS?)? Room has moderate amount of indirect sunlight-- many east facing windows; I live in northern hemisphere (Wisconsin).
