Yes Growin, that is Hesperantha (or Schizostylis as it was) on the stairs. It seems to have naturalised there beautifully! Here's another shot of it.

Howick Hall and Gardens is a wondeful place to visit. I'm pleased I've had the pleasure of been able to visit during the different seasons with my sisters.
