if you think you hate roses b/c they're too hard to grow and maintain, this thoroughly researched article will definitely change your mind. Whether you grow one or all of the ones Dana has discussed, you're gonna say to yourself: "why didn't I grow roses before???". With all the stuff you are likely going to lose to this brutal winter season, save a space for an Earthkind or two.

Thanks for the good article! I love tough roses and, as Vossner says, after this cold winter there will likely be space in my garden for an Earthkind rose this coming season.
