It is about 12 weeks to our last frost date, and today I started some Mini Sweet Pepper seeds-red, yellow & orange. 2 years ago I saved seed from store peppers and they did so well I have done it since then. I had a block of Coir from Boca Bob, so I wet it, squeezed the water out, and put 1/2 cup in some coffee filters (which I have read make very good starter containers) They are in a plastic container, and have a loose cover over them, and then are on a heating mat. I will let you all know how they do. I think I will leave them uncovered so I can watch the sprouting, then cover them.
