Hi folks: I don't do this myself, but plan to try it out this year: A few expert gardeners in Southcentral and the Fairbanks area say that Welsh onions/Siberian onions WILL self-seed and divide up here despite our cold temperatures. I'm told that the key is to get a large bunch going and then just pull what you need when you need it.
