Thanks for the great article on Hibiscus! Actually, this flower is our city's municipal (or whatever) flower, so there are alot of them planted throughout Corpus Christi, which is semi-tropical. I had two hibiscus, fairly large, as we planted them a long time ago. However, one shrub mysteriously just up and died one week, and I never could figure out why. I was wondering if you know the life span of these plants? The one right next to it is still growing fine...and if it Was a disease or pests that killed it, why wouldn't the other shrub have been affected? Thanks!
