I would appreciate any suggestions for a boat to row on our pond. I want it for the exercise and to be on the water. This is not a pond in which to swim, so I prefer a stable boat.
My suggestion would be a dinghy. It's a lot more stable than a kayak or canoe and has a bit more room. Here's a picture of one before I put a transom on it.
And if you're the handyman/woman type, you can build a dinghy. And better yet...there are FREE plans on the internet!
