is anyone else planning to make their own special dinner for valentines day? it is our 34 anniversary on that day and this year i want to cook our dinner together at home rather than go out
so far my menu is

to start -- salad made with spring mix lettuces, bacon, goat cheese sprinkles, dried cherries and candied walnuts topped with raspberry vinagarette dressing

small loaf of hearty bread with olive oil and baked garlic

dinner will be filet mignon with mushrooms and colossal shrimp (maybe lobster instead of the shrimp)
side dish will be roasted asparagus and baby tomatoes topped with lemon and parmasan shavings

dessert is choc dipped strawberries

I am going for not too fussy or involved cooking--also want to eat a little light and healthy--
