I found 2 large pieces of liner I want to use to make a bog garden but cant find seam tape.. I only need agout 9 ft and dont want to buy like 25 ftof it.. anyone know where I can buy it by the foot???
I've never seen it by the foot? I bought a roll of it at Home Depot or Lowes years ago and it was pretty in-expensive.
I found it on line for 1.19 a foot but shipping was 13.00 so I said no thank you to that.. I checked lowes but not HD.. Ill go there next..
I get my seam tape from ebay. There are several vendors who list it by the foot, as well as patches.
If you are near any type of water garden supply place, they sell the tape by the foot. You might be able to find the special "cement" to glue them together.
I live in east tx which compared to living in the midwest is like.. well... there is no comparison...lol.. I was born and raised in the Mid west .. you cant get things here like you can elsewhere.. Books, my art supplies, herbal oils and other stuff I have to order on line because there just enough people interested in that kind of stuff here.. I Ive been to 3 local nurserys asking for tape and they wouldnt even deal with pond stuff cause they cant sell it. Ive learned things that I could routinely get where I was living before I can t get here.. its just the way it is.. east tx IS a whole nother world...lol..
And then, there's the summer heat! Oh well, such is life.
Would it be easier if I got the 9' of tape here and sent it to you? I'd be glad to do that. I could check on price and mailing charge first, of course, and let you know. Should be easier than ordering on-line. (I also get 20% off and no sales tax at the local pond place since I have a landscaping license.)
you are so sweet.. If I cant find it Ill dmail you but I havent given up yet.. Im about 25 miles from the nearest big town which isnt all that big..lol..so I have to "plan " my runs to get a lot done to save gas.You dont just "run" into town when its 50 miles RT...lol.... Ill be heading there next week to check a few other places and will let you know...thanks again!
this the my first water garden I built not knowing what I was doing..loll. not as fabulous as yours(S) but I loved it...
That'll be good. It's really no bother at all. D-mail with address, etc. if that works out for you.
Your first water garden is very nice. Looks like your kitty staked out a sunny spot to soak up the warmth and keep an eye on the fish!
