Do I understand correctly from this article that ornamental sweet potatoes are edible? I have asked at garden centers before and they didn't know.

any part of a sweet potato is edible. Any "non" sweet potato is in the solanin family and toxic, except for the tubers.

Yes, ornamental sweet potato tubers are edible. My friend Gita says they're delicious, but I say why would I eat them when I know how much "pretty" I can grow from them?

Thanks, Poet!
