elsie Lafayette, NJ (Zone 6a) Can anyone help guide me on how to trim my own hair. I got a hair cut and I'm not liking it at all. I'm trying to trim the hair around my ears. She left it longer and it looks awful.
Daddysbug Conroe, TX (Zone 9a) There are several on-line videos that show how to cut hair. Maybe one of them would work for you. I think cutting your own hair next to your ears could be risky, though. If your hair dresser is professional, he/she will trim it up for you at no charge if it hasn't been too long since the original cut.

Totally agree...I'd see if she'd fix it first
