I bought this a few months ago. It must be past it's bloom time because it hasn't bloomed. I can't remember if I got a tag with it. It has done great, ever since I stuck it in the ground. What is it?

Ligularia, perhaps? Here's a link - ignore the flowers :)

Hmmm...no, I don't think it is. I have one of those already and it's more like the picture you showed me. The leaves on this are kinda fussy to the touch. They have small hairs all over the leaves. Also, it's no where near the size of that picture on the link.

I could be wrong though...do they come in a wide variety of sizes and forms?

Jon, they do come in a variety of leaf textures, sizes and shapes. How big across are the leaves on your plant?

Maybe 4-5 inches across.

hi there Marty

the plant isn't a Ligularia.

I'd say Brunnera macrophylla. The flowers are little and blue like forget-me-nots.

It's in the database here http://davesgarden.com/plants/go/1311.html

I'm just gonna have to look to see if I still have the tag (if it had one)! :)
