Happy Spring!!

Adina, thank you for such a wonderful article... all those photos really brings across the color and variety involved in this celebration of "little gifts!"

For me, though, the photo that sums it up is the one of the red & white yarn tied around one of your beautiful snowdrops... I remember your lovely article on them! http://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/view/2412/

Adina so informative and delightful at thesame time. I also prefer the Snowdrop and yarn. I am waiting to see if my snowdrops will be coming up. If not I will try again! I just love them!

Adina: What an interesting custom. Thank you for sharing it with us. I loved seeing the pictures of all the martisors you displayed with the article. I guess the closest thing we have here to a celebration of spring is St. Patrick's Day, although I consider all my gardening trips to buy plants and get them in the ground to be a festival of the highest order!

Thanks again for educating us about your customs in Bucharest!

Adina, I had never heard of Martisor before, and now I have just learned so much! I loved all the pictures--it gives me the feeling of having been on a vacation to somewhere I've never been. I can just imagine all the little girls giving each other their cards. Thank you for sharing this custom!

Thank you for another well written and informative article. I really enjoyed reading about this custom in your country, and how it similar it is to some of our NAI customs. I really loved to see the photos, and most especially the blessing hung from the tree. Very similar to one of our customs.
Well done Adina! Hope your Martisor celebration was a good one this year!
