Got these lasered canellini beans at the flower show this weekend. When they sprout they actually have the name imprinted on the leaf! How cool is that?
I will be sprouting Grandma & Grandpa and the others are for the kids! I'll keep you posted!

I am going to plant the grandma and grandpa ones on Friday when I am off and will keep it posted for sure. I am telling you it was the cutest thing, this tiny bean plant with a single leave with Joy imprinted on it! I can't wait!

They really do sprout with the imprint on the one leaf. I have only seen it on beans though. Must be something about the way bean embryo is inside. It cute. Haven't seen Grandma and Grandpa yet. They should be really cute. : )
