Hi everyone. I am new here... SAHM with 3 teens and DH. I have been container gardening (as I am a renter) for decades now. Each year I try growing plants from seeds with no luck... until this year! I have more plants than I have containers for! I have about 30 various vegetable plants that need a home. I was wondering if it is legal to sell them in a yard sale for $1 each (we live in a low income area and I thought it would be a good thing for them). If you know what rules/laws I could look up or can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. (In the Gulf Coast of TX area btw... zone 9) Thanks!
Renee
Assuming the plants you were growing are not illegal in your area and assuming you're allowed to have yard sales you probably could. But some places might require you to have a nursery license in order to sell plants, so it wouldn't hurt to call the city and find out what the rules are in your area.
