I read somewhere that (hardy/perennial) geraniums could be WS so I've sown 8-9 varities over a period of weeks in my un-heated greenhouse but so far only Johnson's Blue, Midnight Reiter and a mix of unkwn species have sprouted. Did I screw up or am I just jumping the gun, expecting too much with the weather being up and down?

Peggy...where did you get the seeds for Midnight Reiter? Do you have any extras? I would either trade or pay you for them, if you have any to spare.

I got them in a trade and there was only 5-6 and so far 4 have sprouted.Don't look for them to be big enough to bloom this year...barring I don't kill them.

OK, thanks for the information. I hope they do well for you. Were they a challenge to germinate?

no...out of all the varieties I've sown, they were first up ...Johnson's Blue was 2nd,then Vision Pink then Johnson's blue.I have about 10-12 other varieties that haven't sprouted yet.

I take that back...a mystery mix sprouted first then as above.
