Sharon, that's such a wonderful article! I can't believe all your childhood adventures!LOL You had such an imagination and creativity eversince!
Thank you for this lovely story and information! I was wondering why some of my pansies were so tiny last year in my garden...now I have the answer!
As a curiosity, in Romania the common name is "Three spotted brothers" and they have a medicinal use in curing allergies when used as tea.
Hugs,
Adina
My childhood wasn't boring, that's for sure. I think I was more curious than creative, though. That's an interesting name for the plant, 'three spotted brothers'...maybe because I think of flowers as feminine. They are pretty no matter what they're called.
Thanks for writing, and thanks for the tip about the tea for allergies.
I hope you are enjoying your spring weather.
Sharon
Our weather goes from 70* almost daily to about 50 at night, so it's good. I have lots of green showing now, and crocus and daffodils in bloom. Also forsythia...so spring has arrived for me! Lots of rain too, but still lovely.
