Info on when to plant vegetables and when to expect pests

Plant peas When forsythia & daffodils blooms
Plant potatoes When 1st dandelion blooms

Japanese beetles arrive When morning glory vines start to climb

That is really cool - and I think I have everything in my yard or neighborhood except chickory and maple. I may have to plant some chickory just to keep a step ahead of those squash borers!
