We bought a house last spring and I was delighted to find the garden bed out front, facing east, included a bleeding heart bush and a while lilac bush. I cut some of each and together the blooms made the loveliest bouquet imaginable! I could see a bride carrying such a bouquet! After the flowers died off though, and Fall approached, I was unhappy with the unattractive foliage and cut the branches off right to the ground. Later I thought, 'Oh what did I do!!' I imagined that I had killed the plant and was deeply regretful. Well, guess what? My plant has come back! See my photo(s)! Happy Gardening and Thanks for listening!! Sue
