Terrific article.

I've never grown these but the variety that is available makes them tantalizing to consider. Do they coordinate well with other plants in a perennial garden or are they better off in a bed of their own? If the former, can you recommend any that are low growing and could be used in the front of a mixed border? So many plants options, so little space...
