Euphorbias are such a fascinating group of plants. Over the last three years I have tried several different cultivars and I only have one problem. I keep losing one or two a season to powdery mildew. I will have a bed with six of the same variety and one of the six will wilt and die rapidly. When I examine the plant there is white powdery mildew at the base. I have tried several fungicides and the home remedy of aspirin diluted in water but nothing seems to cure this problem. I haven't tried preventive treatment with a fungicide but I am thinking of that.
And no they are not being overwatered. I have them in a very arid part of the garden. Has anyone else had this problem?
