I posted a picture of aporophyllum Moonlight about a month ago when it first bloomed.

Another basket has started blooming. It is 'Oakleigh Conquest'.

It's much prettier than the picture can show.

Here's both of them together.

Bear with me...I'm just so excited that they are blooming after all this time.

I must have taken a hundred pictures of a proud grandma...LOL

av_ocd_girl Would you mind adding these photos to plant files? I have just ordered 'Moonlight' from Bob Smoley's but didn't find a pic of one. I'm so glad I know what to look forward to now. Thanks for posting these :-)

Wow! those look great! I grow mine outside, and due to the prolonged cold weather, and lack of sun, I'm only getting one bloom at a time this year. Those are some nice Adeniums too. I would love to try Adeniums, but can't protect them from winter rains. Good growing!

Catz... Posted pictures of both of them in the Plantfiles.

Bob Smoley's is where I got my cuttings from...years ago, through mail order.
I had a chance to actually go there in Feb. Of course, I had to bring back a box full of cuttings. LOL

OCCAROL -- This is the first year the aporophyllums have bloomed. They always spent the summer out under the trees and the winter in my dining room window. This last fall my son built me a home-made greenhouse and they spent the winter out there. I think the cooler temps and increased light really made a difference. Plus I hit them with bloom booster in Feb.

Pic is Epi 'Freuhlingsgold' ...heavenly scent!!!

Thanks!! It's a good thing I don't live near Bob Smoley's. LOL I've ordered enough online as it is. LOL I also ordered 'Edna Belamy', 'Sussex Lilac', 'Sussex Peach'. I can't wait to see them in bloom. Do you have any other aporophyllums?

The only other full basket I have is 'Priscilla' hasn't bloomed yet.

I have 'LOTS' of rooted cuttings from Bob Smoley. Wish they didn't take so long to bloom.

WOWOW!!! Oh yeah I forgot I ordered 'Evita' too. A lot of those are not online. Are they older varieties or does he limit what he puts online?

He was sooooo nice! Since I showed up in person and told him how much I loved Aporos he gave me cuttings of some of his new stuff from Germany that has not been put on sale yet. I was thrilled. Still am...hope I don't lose any. I asked for just one cutting of each, but he gave me 2 of some of them. So far so good. They're all rooted and most are starting to grow. NOW...How many years till they bloom? LOL

Beautiful Flowers and plant. I recently ordered cuttings from Bob Smoley and when I received them I found he was very generous with the cuttings and he even sent some bonus cuttings. Found him to be very nice and helpful. Sure wish I lived closer I would love to visit sometime.
