Yep, I'm new here, but I've grown TB iris, especially reblooming ones, since the 1960's. I'm a native Northern Californian, about an hour north of San Francisco, which makes the rebloomers easier than in some other parts of the country. I tried my hand at hybridizing, and though it was fun, none of the offspring were good enough to register. I'm sure there are others wiser than I, but if you ask me a question, I'll answer or try to find out.

The picture is of Ocean Pacific during the last couple of weeks; the planter they're in is 4' x 8' x 2 ft. deep, and is off the ground so that the box is counter height--36" There are 5 clumps, each with 5 bloomstalks, and at least 6 buds on every stalk. What a show!

Congrats on becoming a subscriber, and thanks for sharing a photo of your lovely garden! I lived in northern CA about five years, and miss it!
