My family boated for many years on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, often traveling down the Tombigbee to the Gulf, and sometimes northward on the Mississippi...on to Chicago, then the Great Lakes.
But we didn't sail, we had cruisers and house boats. If my husband had lived we would have had a trawler.
The magazine I've written for is one that pertains to local waters, and since you are where you are, I doubt if one would have made its way there.
