Glacier National Park adjoins Canada's Waterton Lakes National Park. In 1932, the parks were joined to form the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park - a world first and it is a UNESCO site. I think we have another garden history item that runs about this but just in case here's a link about it http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/354

This is a gorgeous area. A number of years ago we took the Waterton Lakes boat tour and stopped by at Goat Haunt. Please don't ask me to remember why they named this place Goat Haunt, but they did. The Goat Haunt Ranger Station has an International Peace Park Pavilion as well as the Park service offices. A beautiful place.
