Sue, thanks for this article. Vita and Harold are two of my gardening heroes. When you see what the property looked like when they bought it, it's flabbergasting what they achieved. You can't get much more romantic than the tower writing room which overlooks the gardens. And the white garden--which doesn't sound all that exciting--has to be seen in person to understand just how lovely it is.
