You both sure know how to make a future Registered Dietitian proud ^_^
Lately, we have been microwave steaming certain veggies (broccoli, peas...), using very little liquid, and have been really pleased with the healthy results. But, nothing beats oven roasted or grilled asparagus!
I agree, roasted or grilled is the best! I like to lightly steam them, then toss them with tomatoes, sauteed onions, and garlic in a little olive oil. Mmm, yummy! And to think, my mom had to slather cheese sauce on everything to get us to eat it when we were kids. LOL
