I would like to plant annuals and would like to know what ones like damp soil, I mulch my soil.
Last year I planted Marigolds and they all died, the area does not get morning sun but get sun around noon.
I use a soaker hose under the mulch but I check to see if they need watering before I gave them any.

I really need help here?
